Scripture Readings for Advent
The Season of Advent consist of the four Sundays before Christmas. If 24 December falls on a Sunday, it is the Fourth Sunday in Advent for the morning service, and Christmas Eve for the evening service.
The lectionary works in a three-year cycle, Year A, Year B, and Year C.
